In 2018 Skellefteå Kraft decided to prove that clean energy does not mean compromise. Together we built the PWR001, one of the world’s first electric touring cars, powered entirely by renewable electricity.

The challenge
Clean energy, at the limit of performance.
Skellefteå Kraft’s conviction: clean energy does not have to mean compromise. In 2018 they decided to prove it at the limit of performance.
What we built
A research programme with a race car on top.
The PWR001. 612 hp, 1,080 Nm, 0–100 km/h in under 3 seconds and close to 300 km/h. Run as a research programme in the hardest test environment available, its battery and charging work fed directly into better charging for standard electric cars.
The Result
The proof of concept that made a fully electric STCC possible.
The groundwork for STCC going fully electric in June 2024.
Over 100 students met electric performance up close at a live talent event.
Built and run on 100% renewable energy.
