The anticipation builds as STCC drivers line up on the grid, ready to unleash their machines in a symphony of speed and precision. With cars meticulously positioned and strategies finely tuned, the start of an STCC race is a spectacle like no other.

Robert Dahlgren, Axel Bengtsson, and Anton Marklund, esteemed drivers of CUPRA Sweden - PWR, share their perspectives on the electrifying race start, highlighting the split-second decisions and razor-sharp reflexes required to gain an advantage in the opening moments of the race.

"At the start line, every hundredth counts," remarks Dahlgren, reflecting on the intensity of the moment. "It's a test of skill and nerve, where the slightest hesitation can make all the difference." adds Marklund.

As the lights go out and the race begins, drivers navigate a delicate dance of acceleration and positioning, vying for coveted positions while maintaining a strategic edge over their competitors.

Axel echoes the sentiment, emphasizing the strategic considerations that come into play during the race start. "It's not just about speed," he explains. "It's about the driver that makes the least mistakes, which will be common during the race weekend."

For Team principal Marcus Ekström, the race start represents a culmination of hard work and preparation. "In those critical moments, every decision matters," Ekström asserts. "It's about staying cool under pressure and executing our game plan flawlessly."

Behind the scenes, team strategists analyze data and monitor race dynamics, providing crucial insights to drivers as they navigate the opening laps. The race start sets the stage for the drama and excitement that unfold throughout the race, setting the tone for an unforgettable spectacle.
