EPWR Celebrates Successful Premiere of STCC Season with All Twelve Racing Cars Completing the Tracks of Gothenburg!

June 9, 2024

Following a time of planning and crafting this past spring, each racing car has been finely tuned to meet the highest standards of performance and safety. With invaluable support from SKF Automotive, our dedicated CUPRA Sweden-PWR team of engineers and technicians worked tirelessly to optimize every aspect of these vehicles, and after handing them over to STCC and each team, finally this weekend we saw them excel on the tracks of the city race in Gothenburg.

The 2024 STCC season featured twelve EPWR-cars based on chassis from CUPRA Born, BMW i4, Tesla Model 3, and Volkswagen ID.3, creating a diverse and competitive field of electric race cars. The successful premiere in Gothenburg marks the beginning of an exciting journey for EPWR and our partners. Moving forward, we remain committed to working as a cohesive team, supporting each other, and striving for great performance in every race.

"Reflecting on our journey, I am deeply grateful to all who have contributed to this remarkable milestone. From our devoted engineering and mechanic team to longstanding partners like SKF and STCC, and suppliers who have been integral since our inception, notably Skellefteå Kraft since 2018. Their  commitment and collaboration have propelled us to this memorable success,” says Micke Jansson, CEO of PWR Group.

As we reflect on the successful premiere of the 2024 STCC season in Gothenburg, we look ahead with optimism and excitement for the races to come. With our orientation to innovation and sustainability, EPWR is poised to lead the charge in shaping the future of motorsport.
